The impossible girl is the story of a young girl who finds herself transported to a world full of magic and adventure. When she learns that she is what they call a “lost one”, she must navigate a new life, a new school, and a mysterious enemy that threatens everything.
What I liked:
This is a story near and dear to me – a bit of Harry Potter mixed with Narnia and a lot of fun. The characters are fun and engaging, the storyline is intriguing, and the ending had me wanting more.
What I didn’t like:
It felt a bit rushed at first, and I thought it would sacrifice character and relationship development, but the story pays off if you stick with it past the first Act.
Conclusion:
This is the first in a brand new series that is sure to please fans of, as I said above, Harry Potter, Narnia, and any other fantasy aimed at 10-15 year old readers (honestly, older too… I mean, I’ve hit that 15 mark more than 3 times now…).
