Finding the Familiar

Overthinking

I tend to do that a lot. Especially when it comes to my blog and social media presence. I tell myself that I’m going to make thing simple, to go back to the basics, and I end up running in the opposite direction. It’s a bad habit, and I’m going to break it.

Hopefully. Eventually. I can try, right?
To help with me breaking this inane cycle of my own doing, I am going to bring this blog back to the schedule I had before I took my big break. That means I will have my 3 posts/week in the following format:

Story Monday

This is a day to get the week started right. It will include a great deal of different “story” ideas” fiction short stories, stories I think will brighten your week/day, informative stories, author interviews, or book reviews. It’s an eclectic day for many great things.

Compassion Wednesday

What this world needs now, and always has, is more compassion. This day will highlight ways we can spread that Compassion to others. It will include stories/thoughts on different organizations/people working for the good of the world (including the one that inspired my name for this day, Compassion International).

Flash Fiction Friday

I think the name says it all. This is a day for fun flash fiction stories. There might be some renewal of old flash fiction of mine, plus some new.

So, there you have it. It’s a familiar old format for this blog, and it feels right. Enough with making things more difficult. Let’s go for simple. Simple thinking is always better for me. I hope you’ll join me. Feel free to comment anytime. I love hearing from you.
