Story Monday: Why Am I Here Again?

confused

Bloggers are supposed to find a niche. Something that they’re passionate about. Something that they can lend their unique voice to. Something that connects to a specific target audience and enriches their lives.

Umm…Yeah.

That sounds great in theory – and probably works for most bloggers out there. Here’s the thing: I’m not most people.

I began this site nearly 2 years ago with the purpose of creating an Author’s Platform. It was supposed to be about writing and stories.

For the most part, I’ve kept to that. Here’s the thing, though, about finding that niche you’re passionate about: There are just too many things that get me going. Too many subjects that I believe need attention.

I had mulled over the idea of writing a post today saying that I was going to go back to the roots of this blog. Regain my bearings, sorta.

It would, most likely, improve my readership and reach.

All that SEO techniques and blogging best practices.

Well…that’s not going to happen.

This blog is what it is. Predominately focused on stories, but pretty much all over the place. I’ll write on everything from Christian Apologetics to politics to social justice to alien invasions and dragons.

And my wife. I do like to talk about her, too. šŸ™‚

Can’t help it.

For those of you who have faithfully stuck with me,

You are awesome beyond words.

For those of you looking for more cohesive, consistent content…check in now and then, I’m sure I’ll have something for you once in awhile.

And, if somehow I don’t post again this week – I don’t think that should happen, but you never know with this place –

A Very Merry Christmas to you all!
